GuidiGO is now live on Android

On Saturday, August 3rd we released our Android application.

Most ventures today are faced with the dilemma of releasing their technology on at least two platforms; iOS and Android. Depending on publishers of technology analytics, these two systems alone represent over 90% of the world smartphone – tablet market and this makes the endeavor all that more daunting and, impressive.

To achieve this today, one needs not only teams of developers (which makes the initiative dissuasive to say the least) but also, and even more so, seasoned experts in a mind daunting number of specialties on separate technology streams. If your application, like ours, involves a labyrinth of different technologies, API’s, Maps, Payments, Cloud Sync and developing two multilingual products in parallel, well, it’s like running separate companies. Simply put, being successful in implementing even a simple button with a “similar” function on both platforms brings programmers together for champagne!

To the layman, this brut effort is totally invisible and never divulged or understood outside specialized press and media.

Curiously enough, as it gets easier and quicker to launch basic web applications today it is also getting increasingly difficult to build native mobile apps, find multi-talented lateral thinking developers and designers and as a result, the entry price tag is rising.

At GuidiGO we’re extremely proud of our Design & Development Teams and we are equally confident that the result is truly unique; seamless and beautiful content publication for everyone!

Our Android release is like a second child, just as special but also, a little different.

We hope you download it here and enjoy it with your family, friends & colleagues: GuidiGO for Android

And while the team is already working on more surprises, we’re looking forward to hearing back from you on the Android application!
